Living with chronic pain can affect every part of life—your energy, mood, relationships, and sense of control. Our free support group provides a welcoming place to connect with others who understand what you’re going through.
Receive support, give support, and learn ways to improve your wellbeing
Each group session offers encouragement, understanding, and practical tools to help you manage pain more effectively. Group members learn how daily thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can influence pain, and how small, consistent changes can lead to greater comfort and improved wellbeing.
Support yourself and others in living a more balanced and fulfilling life, even while managing pain.

Support Group Ground Rules
1. Keep it confidential. What is said in the group, stays in the group.
2. Share feelings and experiences, but not advice. It’s okay to say “pass” if you don’t want to share.
3. Accept each other without making judgments.
4. Listen to each other. Give everyone an opportunity to share.
5. Avoid interrupting or having side conversations.
6. Silence all cell phones or disruptive technology.
7. Be on time. Meetings start at 6:45pm.
8. Be respectful, kind, and sensitive to others.
9. Take a break if you need one. You are free to step out at any time.
10. Refrain from using offensive language. Be respectful of differing political, religious, and spiritual beliefs.
11. Threats, intimidation, violent behavior, and weapons have no place here.
12. The Chronic Pain Support Group is for adults 18 and older. Children are not permitted. If you are joining virtually, please ensure you have a private space with minimal interruption for the duration of the meeting.
13. Support groups cannot provide medical advice or therapy. This is a space for sharing experiences and feelings, not for professional medical diagnosis.
Help in Crisis Situations: If you think someone may be in a life-threatening situation, encourage them to call the 988 Crisis Line and bring any concerns to the facilitator privately after the meeting.
