Education Assistant (Part-time)  The application period for this position has closed. 

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma
Pay: $15–$18 per hour

Edmond Counseling and Professional Development, home of the Oklahoma Counseling Institute, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Education Assistant to support our continuing education and training programs. This is a part-time, hybrid position ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, supporting events, and helping professionals have a great learning experience.

• Help host continuing education training events, both in-person and online
   
• Support event attendees and potential customers by answering questions and providing customer service
   
• Attend all training events (requirement of 90% or higher attendance)
   
• Assist the Director of Education with:
   
  • Building and maintaining event registration pages
     
  • Building and maintaining course pages in our Learning Management System (LMS)
     
• Assist with marketing Oklahoma Counseling Institute events and other services of Edmond Counseling and Professional Development
   
• Film live trainings and provide basic video editing for recorded events
   
• Step in to assist with other tasks as needed to support the team
   

• Strong customer service skills

• GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
   
• Moderate to excellent computer skills
   
• Comfortable learning new software and online platforms
   
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
   
• Valid driver’s license
   
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
   
• Availability for occasional weekend training events
