Feelings of panic, fear, and uneasiness

Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
Nausea
Muscletension
Dizziness
A person may experience some or all of these symptoms. In addition, these symptoms may be chronic or transient. For example, a person may experience an "anxiety attack" when he approaches a convinence store but does not experience anxiety while sitting at home in the safety of his living room
The National Institute of Mental Health estimates that 40 million Americans suffer from anxiety each year. Often times, anxiety is experienced in conjunction with depression.
