Resilience Alliance: Thriving Beyond Pain

This group takes a biopsychosocial approach to treating chronic pain conditions, allowing individuals to find ways to cope with and manage their pain from a cognitive behavioral standpoint.  The curriculum, along with the accompanying workbook, introduces individuals to helpful skills and coping strategies in an aim to reduce medication reliance, improve sleep quality, resume valued activities, and break the cycle of pain.

This group addresses several topics including:

•  education on chronic pain
• mindfulness and coping strategies
• tips for sleep improvement

Resilience Alliance meets Tuesday Nights from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edmond Counseling & Professional Development, located at 1320 E 9th Street, Suite 6 in Edmond. The group will start on Tuesday May 14th.

How much does the Resilience Alliance group cost?

This group may be covered as part of your health insurance plan, or paid out of pocket at $25 per session.

How do I get started?

After receiving the online form, we will contact you to complete required paperwork and to schedule a one on one intake meeting. During the intake meeting Ms. Beck will get to know you, your background, and determine if you would benefit from the group and/or other types of services. 

After completing the intake meeting, you may join us for Resilience Alliance starting May 14th!
